It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day! Making St. Patrick’s Day themed food is a fun way to get the kids involved and have some festive fun! The kids and I found some food inspiration online and created a fun board on my Pinterest with all the festive ideas. We tried a few of the recipes and they turned out great and the kids had a ton of fun.
Now, I am not a food blogger and I am definitely not a food photographer, so stay with me as I share our pictures with you. I think it’s important to remember that if your creations don’t look like the pictures you see online, that’s ok! Trust me, the kids don’t care. All they care about is having fun, and if you are stressing the entire time with trying to get whatever you are doing to look perfect, chances are the kids aren’t having fun. So, with that, here is our REALISTIC everyday mom and kids St. Patrick’s Day food ideas. And we had a blast putting them together! It’s a surprise that I even got pictures because it was mild torture for the kids to wait while I tried to get a Pinterest worthy picture.

How can you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day without Lucky Charms!? My kids requested cookies so I found these Lucky Charm sugar cookies to try. I wanted in on some of the St. Patrick’s Day fun, so because I have Celiac Disease we made these cookies gluten free, minus the marshmallows for me. The kids loved making these and their favorite part was putting the marshmallows on top.
